Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 large cucumber(s), sliced
  • 1 small onion(s), finely chopped
  • 1 bunch dill, fresh, chopped, or frozen
  • 1 tbsp herbs, dried salad herbs
  • 2 tbsp vinegar (herb vinegar)
  • 3 tbsp Balsamic vinegar, white
  • some sweetener
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 5 tbsp olive oil
  • Chives, (rolls)

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

in a vinegar/oil marinade – refined with onions and dill….

Wash the cucumber and, if it hasn’t been sprayed, slice it into thin slices without peeling (otherwise, peel it first). Finely chop the onion. Finely chop the dill, or use frozen or freeze-dried dill. Add a few drops of sweetener, vinegar, oil, and all the seasonings to taste, and mix everything well in a bowl. Let the salad sit for about 20 minutes before serving, so the sweet and sour flavor really develops. Serve with chives, if desired.
