Apple and avocado carpaccio

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 apple
  • ½ avocado(s)
  • 4 tbsp pomegranate seeds, fresh
  • 2 spring onions (only the green stems)
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp honey (or habanero honey recipe adDatabase)
  • 4 tbsp olive oil, good
  • Salt and pepper (black)

Instructions

Working time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Mix the lemon juice, honey, and oil and season with salt and pepper. Cut the avocado into thin slices. Wash the apple, dry it, quarter it, remove the core, and slice the quarters into thin slices. Arrange the avocado slices decoratively on a plate. Wash the spring onion greens, shake them dry, and cut them into strips and rings. Place the strips in the center of the carpaccio and scatter the rings around the edges. Scatter the pomegranate seeds over the carpaccio. Drizzle with the dressing and serve. Tip: Prepare the carpaccio shortly before serving. This prevents the apples and avocado from turning brown.
