Apple-mango jam

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 kg apples
  • 2 mangoes
  • 750 g gelling sugar, 2:1
  • 200 ml apple juice

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Peel and core the apples. Roughly chop the apples. Peel and roughly chop the mango. Cook with the apple juice until softened. Then blend with a hand blender until finely chopped. Add the gelling sugar and cook for 4 minutes, stirring constantly. Caution: it burns easily! Pour into jars while hot and seal tightly.
