Vanilla ice cream with hot raspberries

Ingredients for 5 servings:

  • 500 g raspberries, fresh or frozen
  • 4 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 4 tbsp syrup (raspberry or strawberry)
  • 1 liter ice cream (vanilla ice cream)
  • e.g. chocolate sprinkles
  • e.g. whipped cream
  • e.g. waffles (ice cream cones)
  • possibly cocoa powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

quick dessert and extremely tasty

Puree 250g raspberries (allow frozen raspberries to thaw slightly) with the powdered sugar and syrup. Place in a saucepan with the remaining raspberries and bring to a boil. Depending on consistency and taste, you can add more powdered sugar or syrup. Pour the raspberry sauce onto a plate and top with one or more scoops of ice cream. Garnish with whipped cream, chocolate sprinkles, and ice cream cones. Tip: I use a deep plate and dust the rim with cocoa powder, because, as we all know, food is a feast for the eyes! It looks pretty and makes a statement.
