- 1 kg pineapple, fresh
- 1 kg gelling sugar, 1/1
- 1 dl schnapps (fruit schnapps)

Peel the pineapple and cut it into small cubes. Bring 2/3 of the pineapple to a boil with about 500g of gelling sugar and cook for a few minutes until the pineapple is soft. Let it cool slightly, then puree the pineapple with a hand blender. Add the remaining sugar and the remaining pineapple pieces and cook for another 5 minutes. Finally, add the fruit brandy, stir thoroughly, and immediately pour into the jars and seal.
