Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 kg turkey roast (rolled roast)
- 1 tsp, heaped paprika powder, sweet
- 1 tsp, heaped paprika powder, hot
- 1 tsp, heaped pepper, freshly ground
- 1 tsp, leveled sea salt, from the mill
- 1 tsp, heaped herbs of Provence
- 2 carrots
- 1 red bell pepper(s)
- 1 onion(s)
- 2 tomatoes
- Oil, for frying

Turkey roll roast with vegetables – when you need something quick
Season the meat with paprika, salt, and pepper. Tip: Simply sprinkle the spices over the roast and then roll it across the cutting board to ensure it’s well-seasoned on all sides. Sear the seasoned roast in a pan with oil on all sides. Wash the vegetables and peel the carrot and onion. Cut all the vegetables into fairly small pieces—for example, only quarter the tomatoes. Place the roast in a baking dish and arrange the vegetables around the meat. Sprinkle the Provençal herbs over the meat. Cook in a preheated oven at 180-200 degrees Celsius for one hour. I serve it with fresh white bread or a baguette.
