Creamy chocolate ice cream

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 3 egg yolks
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 120 g chocolate
  • 50 g chocolate shavings
  • 250 ml cream, whipped

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Rest time approx. 4 hours; Total time approx. 4 hours 25 minutes

works perfectly even without an ice cream maker

Combine the egg yolks, egg, and sugar in a bowl and whisk until very fluffy. Melt the chocolate to lukewarm, pour it into the bowl, and thoroughly stir it into the egg mixture. Stir in the whipped cream. Carefully fold in the grated chocolate. Transfer the mixture to a freezer-safe container and freeze for at least 4 hours. Let it thaw at room temperature for about 15 minutes before serving. This makes the ice cream easier to portion and makes it wonderfully creamy. My tip: Try using different types of chocolate for variety.
