Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 1.2 kg red cabbage, raw, grated
  • 3 apples, sour (Boskoop or Holsteiner Cox)
  • 1 ½ onions
  • 4 cloves
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • ¼ liter of water

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Pour the water into a pressure cooker. Add the shredded red cabbage, the sliced ​​apples, quartered onions, cloves, oil, sugar, and salt. Cover the pot and place it on the stovetop. With the pressure cooker valve up, cook the red cabbage for about 8 to 10 minutes. Then cool the pressure cooker under cold running water and open the lid.
