Ingredients for 6 servings:
- 1.2 kg red cabbage, raw, grated
- 3 apples, sour (Boskoop or Holsteiner Cox)
- 1 ½ onions
- 4 cloves
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp salt
- ¼ liter of water
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes
Pour the water into a pressure cooker. Add the shredded red cabbage, the sliced apples, quartered onions, cloves, oil, sugar, and salt. Cover the pot and place it on the stovetop. With the pressure cooker valve up, cook the red cabbage for about 8 to 10 minutes. Then cool the pressure cooker under cold running water and open the lid.
