very tasty, almost like Heinz sandwich spread
Boil the eggs hard for 12 minutes. In the meantime, dice the gherkins and shallots as finely as possible. Rinse the hard-boiled eggs thoroughly, peel them, and then cut them into small cubes. An egg slicer is a great help with this. You place the egg in it once lengthwise and once crosswise, and it’s beautifully chopped. If you like it even smaller, you can use a knife to help it along. Carefully (!!!) mix the chopped eggs with all the other ingredients and let it marinate in the fridge for 3 hours. Note: I eat it plain on bread with a lettuce leaf underneath. It also goes very well with smoked salmon. It is also highly recommended for sandwiches. The taste is very reminiscent of the legendary Heinz sandwich spread. Unfortunately, it is no longer available in Germany.
