Tofu Cream 'Obazda'

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g smoked tofu
  • 50 g margarine
  • 50 ml soy milk (soy drink)
  • Paprika powder
  • Caraway powder
  • salt and pepper
  • ½ bunch chives
  • 1 pinch of mustard
  • 1 tbsp nutritional yeast

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Vegan and low-fat version

Roughly chop the smoked tofu and blend it with the margarine, soy milk, and nutritional yeast using a hand blender. If the mixture is too thick, add more soy milk until the desired consistency is reached. Season generously with mustard and spices. Finely chop the chives and fold in. This cream tastes best when left to sit overnight. Serve with warm bread.
