Ingredients for 5 servings:
- 400 g cream cheese, natural
- 1 egg(s), including the yolk
- 2 cups of sweet cream
- 100 g sugar
- 2 tbsp vanilla sugar
- 1 point cream stiffener
- 1 jar morello cherries
- 100 g almonds, sliced
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp butter
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Toast the almonds with a tablespoon of sugar and butter until light brown, stirring constantly, and let cool. Whisk one cup of cream until stiff peaks form, then mix all the ingredients from “cheese to cream stiff peaks” except for the other cup of cream. Then mix in the second cup of whipped cream. In a glass bowl, first layer the cheese mixture, then the drained cherries, then another layer of the cheese mixture. Sprinkle the toasted almonds on top just before serving.
