Apple tart with puff pastry

Spread the love

Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 1 package of puff pastry from the refrigerated section (roll)
  • 300 ml milk
  • 1 packet of pudding powder (vanilla flavor)
  • 2 tbsp, levelled sugar
  • 50 g marzipan paste
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 2 tbsp almonds, ground
  • 2 tbsp Amaretto
  • 2 tsp vanilla sugar
  • 3 m.-sized apples
  • 1 tbsp, levelled sugar
  • 1 tsp, leveled cinnamon powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour

Place the puff pastry in a springform pan lined with baking paper and raise the edges to about 2 cm. Make a pudding from the milk, sugar, and custard powder. Let it cool for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent a skin from forming. In the meantime, crumble the marzipan and stir it into the pudding along with the egg, almonds, and Amaretto. Spread the mixture over the pastry base. Preheat the oven to 200°C. Peel the apples and slice them into wedges, then arrange them fan-shaped on top of the cream. Mix the sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle over the apples. Bake the apple tart on the middle rack for about 35 minutes.
