Ingredients for 3 servings:
- 160 g sugar
- 120 g butter
- 150 g semolina
- 500 g quark (cottage cheese)
- 500 g plum(s) (prunes)
- 4 egg yolks
- 4 egg whites, stiff peaks
- ½ pack of baking powder
- Lemon(s) – peel, grated
- 1 shot of rum
- 250 ml cream
Instructions
Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes
Cream the butter until fluffy, add the sugar, alternately adding the egg yolks and a little semolina. Mix in the lemon zest, remaining semolina, baking powder, rum, and curd cheese, and finally add the beaten egg whites and pitted plums. Transfer to a greased and breadcrumb-coated baking dish and bake at approximately 170 degrees Celsius (convection oven) for about 45-50 minutes. Sprinkle with sugar after baking and serve with whipped cream.
