Movie burger based on the cult film “Once Upon a Time in the West”
Finely dice the bread rolls and soak in warm water for 20 minutes. Fry the bacon in a pan without fat until crispy. Drain on kitchen paper. Warm the baked beans. Slice the onions and sauté them in 1 tablespoon of butter until soft. Finely crush the coffee beans with a pinch of salt in a mortar and pestle. Slice the gherkin. Cut the lettuce leaves. Squeeze the bread rolls well and knead them in a bowl with the egg and minced meat. Season with salt and pepper and, with moistened hands, form 4 patties. Heat oil in a pan and fry the patties for 3-4 minutes on each side. Season with the coffee salt. Meanwhile, top the bread slices with the cheese and toast in a preheated oven at 180°C for 6-8 minutes. Place one patty on each plate and top with the onions, lettuce, bread slices, baked beans, gherkin, and bacon. Spread with mustard and barbecue sauce and finish with the remaining patties.
