Classic blackberry jam

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 kg blackberries
  • 1,150 g sugar
  • 20 g Gelfix , 1:1, from the bag

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Wash the blackberries thoroughly, place them in a saucepan, and mash them with a potato masher. Mix Gelfix with 2 tablespoons of sugar and add to the fruit puree. Bring the berry mixture to a boil. Once boiling, add the remaining sugar and simmer for 3 minutes. Pour the jam into sterile jars. Then, turn the jars upside down for 5 minutes and let them cool.
