- 200 g flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 75 g margarine or butter
- 75 g sugar
- 1 tbsp vanilla sugar
- 1 egg(s)

for cakes and cookies
Combine flour and baking powder and sift into a bowl. Sprinkle margarine or butter flakes on top. Add sugar, vanilla sugar, and egg. Knead everything vigorously with your hands until a smooth dough forms. Cover and refrigerate for about 30 minutes. The dough can then be used as a cake base or as cookie dough. (Simply roll out, cut out cookies, bake, and cover with chocolate after it has cooled.) Baking time and temperature depend on what you’re using the dough for.
