Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 500 g flour
  • 3 eggs
  • ¼ liter of water
  • 2 onions
  • 200 g cheese (beer cheese)
  • butter
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • chives

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Mix flour, salt, eggs, and water to form a firm dough. Strain the dough through a dumpling sieve into boiling salted water, bring to a boil briefly, strain, and refresh with cold water. Finely chop the onion and fry in plenty of butter until golden brown. Add the dumplings, season with pepper and salt, and stir in the grated cheese. Garnish with plenty of fresh chives.
