Spicy potato cream with ham

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 300 g potatoes
  • ½ bunch chives
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 cucumber(s), pickled sour
  • 100 g sour cream
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • 100 g diced ham
  • e.g. salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder
  • some water

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

First, wash and boil the potatoes. Once cooled, peel them and press them through a potato ricer. Wash the chives and cut them into small rolls. Peel and dice the onion, as well as the pickled cucumber. Add the chives, onion, and cucumber to the potato mixture along with the sour cream, mustard, and diced ham. Season to taste with salt, pepper, and paprika. If the mixture is too thick, add a little water until smooth. The cream is also suitable for stuffing tomatoes and peppers, as a side dish for large mushrooms, or as a dip.
