Pasta pan with minced meat, peppers and tomatoes

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g minced meat, half and half
  • 3 bell peppers, red, yellow, green
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 small can of tomato paste
  • 4 tsp vegetable broth powder for 1 liter of water
  • 1 large can of tomatoes, peeled
  • 1 tbsp oil (olive oil) or margarine
  • Salt and pepper, freshly ground

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Dice the onion and fry with the minced meat in oil in a deep pan – it can stick to the pan a little. Then clean the peppers and cut them into 1-1.5 cm cubes and add them to the pan. Let everything simmer for a little (about 5 minutes), then add the peeled tomatoes and gradually add the stock. Then add the tomato paste and let everything simmer for about 30-40 minutes – depending on your preference for consistency!! Season well with salt and pepper. Be careful: you don’t taste the pepper in your mouth until a little later!! I like the sauce best with Wickli pasta! The sauce is great for freezing in portions.
