Mushroom cream sauce

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 250 g mushrooms, white or brown, fresh
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 50 g butter
  • 2 tbsp sour cream
  • 2 tbsp sauce powder, light
  • ½ bunch parsley, fresh
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 dashes lemon juice
  • ½ liter of water

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

suitable for minced steaks or briefly fried meat

Clean the fresh mushrooms and slice them thinly. Sauté the finely chopped onion in the butter until translucent. Add the mushrooms and sauté until the liquid is completely gone. Now add a little water (about 100 ml) and sauté again until the liquid is completely gone. Repeat this process once more. Now you can add the remaining water. Let everything simmer gently and season with salt, pepper, and lemon juice. Add the sour cream and season to taste. Now add the chopped parsley and, if desired, thicken the sauce with a sauce thickener. This goes well with rice or fries and, of course, a hearty piece of meat.
