Cheese tortellini with chunky tomato sauce

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 250 g tortellini (cheese tortellini)
  • 1 can tomatoes, chopped
  • 50 ml red wine
  • 1 tbsp rapeseed oil
  • 1 small onion(s)
  • 1 tsp tomato paste
  • some salt and pepper
  • some sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Cook the cheese tortellini according to the instructions. Meanwhile, heat the rapeseed oil in a saucepan. Peel and finely dice the onion, and sauté in the oil for about 5 minutes. Add the diced tomatoes, red wine, and tomato paste and simmer for about 20 minutes. Season with salt, pepper, and sugar. Add the cooked tortellini to the sauce, mix well, and serve.
