Cheese cream

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 300 g cheese, e.g. young Gouda
  • 150 g yogurt, approx.
  • 1 small bunch of fresh herbs (e.g. parsley and chives)
  • 1 clove(s) garlic
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes

for barbecues or other parties – quick, simple and absolutely delicious!

Finely grate the cheese and finely chop the herbs. Place everything in a bowl and press in the garlic. Then slowly add the yogurt and mix everything into a cream. Be careful not to use too much yogurt (the amount in the recipe is only a rough guide) and don’t mix for too long, as otherwise the cream will become too runny or greasy. Finally, season with salt and pepper and refrigerate for an hour. The types of cheese and herbs, as well as the amount of herbs and garlic, can of course be varied according to taste. This cream is an absolute perennial favorite and has always been a hit at every barbecue and other party.
