Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 300 g double cream cheese
- 150 g low-fat curd cheese
- 1 tsp, leveled salt
- 1 pinch(s) of pepper
- 1 pinch(s) brown sugar
- 2 small onions, red
- ½ bunch of spring onions
- 1 handful of chives
- 1 tbsp milk if needed
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes
with bread, as a dip, for grilling, with boiled potatoes
Whisk the cream cheese and quark until smooth, adding a little milk if desired. Peel and finely dice the onions, and peel and finely slice the spring onions. Stir into the cream along with the chives. Season with salt, pepper, and sugar. Let it sit in the refrigerator for 1 hour. It goes well with hearty bread, pretzel chips, or crackers, or even with barbecue and potatoes.
