Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 400 g flour
- 4 tsp baking powder
- 40 g cocoa powder
- 250 g sugar
- 250 ml vegetable oil, neutral
- 350 ml water
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 100 g dark chocolate, vegan
- 50 g margarine, vegan
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes
Combine flour and baking powder, add sugar, sifted cocoa powder, oil, water, and vanilla sugar, and mix well. Pour into a greased 23cm springform pan and bake at 180°C for about 40 minutes. Once the cake has cooled, melt the chocolate and margarine in a water bath. Let it cool briefly, then spread evenly over the cake. Tip: For a marble cake, divide the batter and add 20g of cocoa powder to one half. Pour both mixtures into the pan one at a time and mix lightly with a fork.
