Vegan spelt waffles with almond butter and banana without sugar

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 100 g wholemeal spelt flour
  • 140 g spelt flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 125 g almond butter
  • 100 g agave syrup
  • 175 ml plant milk (plant drink)
  • 80 g fruit of your choice, pureed, unsweetened
  • 1 small banana(s)
  • some vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

First, combine all the wet ingredients in a bowl and mix. Then add the flour and baking powder and mix well with a hand mixer. Bake the batter in batches in a hot waffle iron on medium heat. Brush the waffle iron with vegetable oil before each waffle. This yields about 10 waffles.
