- 400 g dark chocolate
- 200 g whipped cream

Break or chop the chocolate into pieces and place in a bowl. Bring the cream to a boil in a saucepan and pour it over the chocolate. The chocolate should be completely covered. Let it stand for 3-5 minutes. Whisk until creamy and smooth and there are no lumps. The ganache can be used after it has cooled. It is better to leave it at room temperature overnight. The ganache makes an excellent base for fondant, but can also be used for spreading. Heat it briefly beforehand, for example, in the microwave, and then whip it until it has the consistency of hazelnut spread. It is also suitable as a spread.
