Dutch cheese eggs

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 6 slice(s) ham, smoked
  • 4 slices of Gouda
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup of cream (200 ml)
  • 1 bunch of chives
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Completely line the bottom of a shallow baking dish with the ham. Arrange the cheese slices on top. Crack the eggs and drop them one at a time onto the cheese. Season the cream with salt, paprika, and pepper and pour over the eggs. Chop the chives and sprinkle over the top. Bake in the oven at 180°C (top/bottom heat) until the eggs are set. 320 kcal per serving.
