Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 8 m.-sized eggs
  • 100 g bacon, thinly sliced
  • 200 g cheese, grated (Gouda)
  • 1 small bunch of chives, cut into rolls

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes

Quick oven-baked dish for breakfast, dinner or in between meals

Evenly line the bottom of a non-stick baking dish with the bacon. Crack the eggs and pour them over the bacon without whisking. Sprinkle the grated Gouda cheese over the eggs and bake in a preheated oven at 190°C (375°F) for about 25 minutes. Let rest briefly and then divide among plates. Finally, sprinkle with chives. Serve with fresh bread and tomatoes.
