Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 100 g margarine
- 250 ml dry white wine (Riesling)
- salt and pepper
- 1 pinch of nutmeg
- 150 g flour
- 4 eggs
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 150 g cheese (Gouda)

Bring the margarine, white wine, salt, pepper, and nutmeg to a boil and remove from the heat. Add the flour all at once and stir until a ball forms. Return to the stovetop and heat while stirring until a white coating forms on the bottom of the pan. Allow to cool slightly. Gradually stir in the eggs. The batter should be glossy and difficult to tear. Add the baking powder and stir thoroughly. Preheat the oven to 200°C. Cut the Gouda into small cubes and fold into the batter. Line a baking sheet with baking paper. Using two teaspoons, scoop out small balls of dough and place them on the sheet. Bake for about 20 minutes until golden brown.
