Minced meat and mozzarella pasta casserole

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 can tomatoes, chopped
  • 350 g spiral noodles
  • 400 g minced meat, mixed
  • 1 large onion(s)
  • 1 clove(s) garlic
  • 1 cup crème fraîche with herbs
  • 1 tsp, leveled vegetable broth, instant
  • 1 medium-sized bell pepper(s)
  • 1 ball(s) of mozzarella
  • 250 g Gouda, grated
  • some paprika powder
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 55 minutes

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees fan-assisted oven or 200 degrees top/bottom heat. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Dice the onion and garlic and fry until lightly browned. Add the minced meat and fry until well cooked. Add the chopped tomatoes to the pan and season with a teaspoon of stock, paprika, salt, and pepper, then bring to a boil briefly. Finely dice the bell pepper and mozzarella and add to the minced meat at the end. Transfer the cooked pasta to a baking dish, add the crème fraîche, and mix. Add the minced meat mixture and sprinkle the grated cheese on top. Place in the preheated oven and bake for about 25 minutes until golden brown.
