Spaghetti in onion-garlic sauce with fake cream

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 8 large onions
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 2 tbsp oil, for frying
  • 1 can mushrooms, whole heads
  • 1 package of sausages (ham)
  • 1 bottle of Cremefine, for cooking
  • 1 package of condensed milk
  • Beef broth, instant
  • Pepper, from the mill
  • Salt
  • 2 packs of spaghetti, also whole wheat spaghetti
  • 1 handful of parsley, chopped

Peel the onions and cut into large cubes (about 1×1 cm). Drain the mushrooms. Cut the sausages into slices about 1 cm thick. Heat the oil in a large pan and sweat the onions, mushrooms, and sausages until golden brown. Peel the garlic cloves and add them through a garlic press. Add the Cremefine and the condensed milk. Add freshly ground pepper and stock powder to taste and mix well. Simmer on very low heat for a further 5-10 minutes to allow the garlic to infuse. During this time, cook the spaghetti with water and salt according to the package instructions. Finely chop the parsley and add it to the sauce just before serving, stirring well. Tip: Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top of each portion to taste; it rounds off the dish perfectly.
