Camembert with maple syrup, cranberries and nuts prepared in the oven

We discovered and fell in love with this recipe on our vacation in Canada. Cape Breton is an island in eastern Canada in the province of Nova Scotia. With this recipe, we used up all the maple syrup we had brought with us because it’s super simple and incredibly delicious. The Camembert simply goes into the baking dish, and the nuts and blueberries are scattered on top of and next to the cheese. The maple syrup is then simply spread over everything. Then it is baked in the oven at 180°C for about 15-25 minutes. The delicious sauce is then soaked up with the baguette. Tip: We usually make it with frozen blueberries and cashews; the original recipe calls for fresh cranberries and walnuts.
