Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 500 ml milk or cream
  • 50 g coffee powder
  • possibly sugar
  • 500 ml ice cream (vanilla)
  • 250 g whipped cream
  • chocolate sprinkles

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 2 hours 30 minutes

Bring the milk or heavy cream to a boil in a saucepan while stirring. Place the coffee powder in a jug and pour over the boiling milk or cream. Cover and let the coffee steep for about 30 minutes. Then pour the coffee milk or cream through a sieve, collecting the coffee, mixing it with sugar if desired, and let it cool. Remove the vanilla ice cream from the carton, cut it into cubes, and divide it among 2-4 glasses. Fill the glasses with the coffee. Whip the cream until stiff peaks form. Spoon the whipped cream over the iced coffee and serve garnished with chocolate sprinkles.
