Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 150 g corn flour
  • 30 g cornstarch
  • 70 g sugar, or other sweetener
  • 1 tsp vanilla sugar, can also be omitted
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 70 g ghee or butter
  • 30 ml water, approx.

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 12 minutes; Total time approx. 2 hours 32 minutes

Gluten-free and egg-free, for 25 pieces

In a bowl, mix the cornstarch, cornflour, and salt well. Add the butter and knead into a crumbly dough, preferably by hand. Add the sugar or other sweetener (e.g., honey) and water. Quickly knead with your hands until smooth. Form the dough into two logs, wrap in cling film, and refrigerate for at least two hours. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Cut the logs into 1 cm thick slices and bake at 190°C for approximately 10-15 minutes.
