Crunchy Kale Casserole

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 6 tbsp mashed potatoes (mashed potatoes, leftover mashed potatoes)
  • 1 jar kale
  • 1 small onion(s)
  • 1 tbsp ham, diced
  • 1 tbsp clarified butter
  • 1 tbsp cheese, grated
  • 50 g walnuts (crushed in a mortar)
  • 1 Cabanossi (sliced)
  • 1 pinch of salt and pepper from the mill
  • 1 dashes sweetener

Fill a casserole dish with the mashed potatoes and smooth it down. In a separate pot, prepare the kale. Peel the onion and dice it into small pieces. Heat the clarified butter in a pot and sauté the diced onion and ham. Add the kale and season with a pinch of salt and freshly ground pepper. Fold in the dash of liquid sweetener and the sliced ​​Cabanossi cheese and let it sit. Finally, fold in the walnuts, which have been crushed in a mortar and pestle. Once the kale has cooled slightly, spread the mixture over the mashed potatoes and place the tablespoon of cheese in the center. Place the casserole dish in the microwave and bake at 800 watts for 7 minutes.
