Hearty savoy cabbage and potato casserole

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 750 g potatoes, boiled
  • ½ head of savoy cabbage
  • 500 g smoked pork, cooked
  • 250 g tomatoes
  • pepper
  • 3 eggs
  • 375 ml milk
  • nutmeg
  • 3 tbsp breadcrumbs
  • 20 g butter
  • Fat, for the shape

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Slice the potatoes. Blanch the savoy cabbage and cut into strips. Dice the smoked pork. Layer in a greased dish and season. Place the tomatoes and remaining potatoes on top. Whisk the eggs and milk together and pour over the meat. Sprinkle with breadcrumbs. Sprinkle with small pieces of butter. Cook at 200°C for 25-30 minutes.
