Sandwiches à la Julia

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 slices of toast
  • e.g. tomato paste
  • 2 slices of salami
  • 1 slice(s) Scheibletten (processed cheese slices)
  • n. B. Herbs of Provence

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Spread tomato paste on both slices of toast. Then sprinkle the Herbes de Provence over the tomato paste on one slice of toast. Place the two slices of salami and the slice of processed cheese on top, then sprinkle the Herbes de Provence on top. Fold the second slice of toast over the top and place the sandwich in the sandwich maker. I always use cocktail sauce from the refrigerated section for dipping. Of course, you can vary the sandwich however you like. It’s simply delicious for a quick snack between meals.
