Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g turkey meat (fillets)
  • 1 class can/n mandarin(s) OR:
  • 3 small tangerines
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 tsp curry
  • 1 tsp paprika powder
  • ½ tsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp instant broth
  • 1 cup of cream
  • 1 m.-sized onion(s)

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes

with fruity mandarin orange sauce

Marinate the turkey fillets in a bowl with the sesame oil, sugar, paprika, and curry powder. Let it marinate for about an hour – preferably in a cool place. Sear them in a preheated pan until crisp. Remove the fillets and sauté the finely diced onion in the pan juices. Add the mandarin oranges and sauté briefly. Finally, thicken the sauce with the cream. Perfect with vegetable rice. If you use fresh mandarin oranges, you’ll need a little more time. They need to be covered in sugar and left to marinate overnight, as some of the mandarin orange juice is needed for the sauce.
