Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

tastes cold or warm

Peel and finely chop the onion. Chop the basil. Soak the bread roll in a little water, squeeze the water out well, and add it to the bowl with the other ingredients. Crush the garlic. Knead all ingredients together well and season with salt and pepper. Form small balls with your hands and fry in a sufficient amount of oil over medium heat until golden brown. Swirl the pan several times to ensure the balls brown evenly. The balls are delicious hot or cold and are ideal for buffets. We also like to use spicy steak mustard instead of regular mustard.
