Casserole of green beans, potatoes and ham

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 750 g runner beans
  • 750 g potatoes
  • 200 g cooked ham
  • 200 ml cream
  • 4 eggs
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 tsp savory, dried
  • 100 g mountain cheese, grated
  • Butter for the mold

Clean the green beans and cut them into pieces. Blanch them briefly in salted water and then plunge them into cold water. This will help the beans retain their beautiful green color. Peel the potatoes and cut them into approximately 1 cm cubes. Dice the cooked ham as well. Mix the beans, potatoes, and ham together and place them in a buttered casserole dish. Whisk the cream and eggs together, season generously with salt, pepper, and savory. Pour over the casserole. Sprinkle with grated cheese and bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for approximately 50-60 minutes.
