Spaghetti salad Italian style

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 250g spaghetti
  • Salt
  • 200g salami
  • 12 olives, stuffed with peppers (approx.)
  • 1 can tuna, in oil
  • 1 head of lettuce
  • 4 beefsteak tomatoes
  • 2 tbsp white wine vinegar, freshly ground pepper
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 bunch of basil

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour

Break the spaghetti into strips and cook in salted water until al dente. Drain and let cool. Cut the salami into strips and mix with the olives. Tear the drained tuna (reserving the oil) into pieces and add. Carefully fold in the washed lettuce and the tomatoes, cut into eighths. Mix the vinegar, tuna oil, and olive oil together, season with salt and pepper, and stir in the chopped basil. Pour over the salad and let stand for about 30 minutes before serving.
