Salad with tuna in vegetable dressing

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 125 g pasta shells
  • 50 g peas, frozen
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 can of tuna in vegetable dressing
  • 2 tbsp, heaped salad cream (Miracel Whip)
  • Salt and pepper, white
  • chili flakes
  • 1 spring onion(s)
  • ½ small bell pepper(s), red
  • ¼ jar gherkins
  • 1 tbsp cucumber juice

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Place the pasta shells in a pot of boiling salted water and cook according to the package instructions. 3 minutes before the end of the cooking time, add the frozen peas and cook. Hard-boil the eggs. Meanwhile, place the tuna and vegetable dressing in a bowl, add the Miracle Whip, pepper, and chili flakes, and mix to combine. Peel and slice the spring onion, peel and dice half the bell pepper, and slice the gherkins. Add to the tuna along with the pickle juice. Then carefully stir in the drained and cooled pasta shells and peas. Peel and dice one egg, and fold in. Season the salad with the seasonings. Peel and quarter the second egg, and place it on the salad.
