Stuffed croissants

Ingredients for 13 servings:

  • 300 g flour
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 75 g sugar
  • 6 tbsp milk
  • 5 tbsp oil
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 150 g low-fat curd cheese
  • n. B. Jam of your choice
  • e.g. Nutella
  • n. B. Chocolate shavings
  • 1 egg yolk
  • Condensed milk

Instructions

Working time approx. 40 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 12 minutes; Total time approx. 52 minutes

Using the dough hook on a mixer, make a quark and oil dough from the first ingredients, then knead it with your hands until smooth. Roll the dough out into a circle and then divide it into several “cake slices” using a pastry wheel. Spread the filling as desired over the dough and roll them into croissants. Line a baking sheet with baking paper and place the croissants on it. Whisk together the egg yolk and condensed milk, then brush the croissants with the filling. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (fan-assisted) for about 12 minutes.
