Rösti à la Bruschetta

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 4 frozen hash browns
  • 2 tomatoes
  • ½ ball of mozzarella
  • salt and pepper
  • some basil leaves

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

quickly prepared

Prepare the frozen rösti in the oven according to the instructions. Remove the rösti shortly before the end of the baking time. Slice the tomatoes and arrange them on top of the rösti. Season the tomato slices with salt and pepper and top with basil leaves. I use 2-3 leaves per rösti. Slice the mozzarella and arrange them on top of the rösti. Bake the rösti for about 10 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit) until the cheese is lightly browned. Serve with salad.
