Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 4 tbsp oil
- 800 g minced meat (beef mince or mixed)
- 2 medium-sized onions, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 1 tsp pepper, ground
- 4 tsp salt
- 2 tsp caraway seeds
- Chili extract
- 100 g tomato paste
- 2 small cans of tomatoes
- 1 small can of corn
- 1 small can of kidney beans
- 300 ml beef broth
- 1 bell pepper(s), diced
- 2 tsp oregano
- e.g. crème fraîche
- e.g. sheep’s cheese
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes
First, place the tomatoes in a pot, chop them, and turn the heat to level 2. Then add the beef stock, tomato paste, and oil, and season with a few drops of chili extract. Stir well. Then add the diced bell pepper, spices, onion, and garlic. Next, add the whole can of corn and kidney beans and stir well. Now fry the minced meat in a pan until crumbly, add it to the pot, and simmer for 30 minutes, stirring constantly. To serve, place on a plate, place crème fraîche in the center, and crumble feta cheese around the outside. Serve with a baguette.
