Grandma Otti's quick breakfast quark rolls with and without raisins

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 80 g oil
  • 120 ml milk, 160 ml milk for the version with wheat flour type 1050
  • 125 g sugar
  • 250 g quark
  • 500 g wheat flour type 550 or type 1050, then
  • 1 bag of baking powder
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 2 tbsp coffee cream
  • 1 handful of raisins

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

makes about 15 rolls

Preheat the oven to approximately 180°C (top/bottom heat). Knead all ingredients, except the raisins (see below). Form 15 small rolls, place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper, and spread with coffee cream. Bake in the oven on the middle rack for approximately 20 minutes. If you want raisin rolls, first soak a handful of raisins in warm water. Then knead all the dough ingredients together. Squeeze out the raisins and add them to half of the dough. Continue as above.
