Quark noodles – Zieger Nudla

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 200 g flour
  • 500 g dry quark
  • 1 egg(s)
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 7 ½ g baking powder or baking soda
  • 50 g clarified butter
  • n. B. Salt for sprinkling
  • n. B. Sugar for sprinkling

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Let the quark drain in a cloth for 2-3 days. Knead all ingredients in a bowl until a dough forms. Form noodles about 5 cm long, about the thickness of a wooden spoon, and fry in hot clarified butter. Sprinkle with a little salt. Serve with salad or cabbage. Zieger Nudla can also be sprinkled with sugar and eaten as a dessert.
