Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 slices of toast (wholemeal toast)
  • 4 slices of pork fillet(s) approx. 1-1.5 cm thick (total 150-180 g fillet)
  • 4 slice(s) of tomato(s)
  • 3 slice(s) of cheese, Gouda, Emmenthaler etc.
  • leaf lettuce
  • oil
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

topped with cheese

Preheat the oven to 200°C! Heat a grill pan and grease it with a little oil. Season the pork fillet slices with salt and pepper, and sear them on both sides. Don’t overcook them, as they will continue to cook in the oven. Place the fillet slices on an ovenproof plate, place a tomato slice on top of the meat, and the cheese slices on top. Leave in the oven until the cheese melts and is lightly browned. Meanwhile, toast the toast, place it on a plate, and arrange the washed lettuce leaves on top, generously covering the slices. Remove the gratinated fillet slices from the oven and carefully slide them onto the prepared slices of toast. Season with freshly ground pepper.
