Ingredients for 10 servings:

  • 1 m.-large white cabbage
  • 1 class jar of mayonnaise (salad mayonnaise)
  • 1 cup of cream
  • 1 small carrot(s)
  • Vinegar
  • lemon juice
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • lots of sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 12 hours; Total time approx. 12 hours 15 minutes

Finely grate/shred the white cabbage and carrot. Then, in a separate small bowl, combine 4-6 tablespoons of sugar, 1/4 teaspoon (not too much) of salt, pepper, a generous splash of vinegar, and lemon juice; mix well. Then add the mayonnaise and cream and mix well. The flavor should be pleasantly sweet and sour. Refrigerate until ready to serve. Tip: Prepare the salad at least half a day in advance.
